Atmospheric Boundary Layer Eddy Structure Identification by Orthonormal Wavelet Expansion

  • Orthonormal wavelet transform is applied to experimental data of boundary layer turbulence, including multi-scale decomposition and high frequency noise removing. Some physical criterions, such as isotropic, are respectively proposed to determine the time scale that is related to coherent and small scale parts of turbulence.
