Abstract:
WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model simulations were optimized based on CO
2 flux data from the Atmospheric Boundary Layer Eco-Environment Shanghuang Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We update remote sensing input data, introduce nonlinear respiration processes, and optimize photosynthesis and respiration parameters to simulate vegetation productivity in central Zhejiang Province. The optimized model accurately captures the dynamics of vegetation productivity, providing a Vegetation Photosynthetic Respiration Model (VPRM) parameter set for evergreen broadleaf forests in this region. The optimized model would considerably contribute to the evaluation of terrestrial carbon sinks in central Zhejiang Province. Long-term observations from more ecosystem sites need to be integrated, and parameter optimization for more complex ecological processes needs to be conducted to further improve simulation accuracy and applicability.
