Application of Nano-AgI Catalyst in Weather Modification II: Laboratory Experiment

  • 摘要: 运用爆炸法, 使用“37 型”降雨实弹分别在室内20 L 和1200 L 云室对研制的人工影响天气纳米碘化银催化剂的成冰性能, 包括成核率、成冰阈温、核化速率等, 进行检测和研究。在相同实验条件下, 在“37 型”降雨实弹上将纳米碘化银催化剂与目前常用碘化银催化剂进行对比试验。结果表明, 纳米碘化银催化剂成冰性能明显优于常规碘化银催化剂, 其成核率比常规碘化银催化剂提高1~2 个数量级;成冰阈温值增加;核化速率明显加快。

     

    Abstract: The ice nucleating properties including nucleation rate, freezing temperature, freezing rate of nano-silver iodide (AgI) by using “37” shells in 20-L and 1200-L cloud chamber was studied. The results were compared with those obtained on the conventional silver iodide under the same experimental conditions. The results show that the ice nucleating properties of the nano-silver iodide are significantly better than those of the conventional silver iodide, its nucleation rate is increased by 2-3 orders of magnitude, freezing temperature rises, and freezing rate is significantly increased.
